Helen has been a journalist for more than 20 years, and is currently the face of news on GMTV.
She has covered many major stories, including the collapse of the twin towers in New York on September 11th; the Bush/Gore election and Princess Diana's funeral.
Major Exclusives Helen has also had her fair share of exclusives. They include the first 'at home' live interview with the Benhaffaf family with their newly separated conjoined twins; the first interview with Paul McCartney after his wife Linda was diagnosed with breast cancer, and she was the first to track down the fireman pictured all over the world going up the World Trade Centre to rescue those trapped minutes before it collapsed.
She's an experienced live presenter, and was a regular face on Sky News and Five News before returning to GMTV in September last year. On SKY Helen fronted breaking and rolling news, and guided viewers through many stories, including the recent shootings in Virginia, and the death of the Pope.
Insightful Interviews She's covered the Oscars five times, and during her time as a showbiz correspondent, went behind the scenes with Elton John on tour in Australia; interviewed stars like Luther Van Dross and Cliff Richard at their private homes abroad, and has made half hour programmes on stars like Yoko Ono.
